Read how one Pinnacle Health Management participant was able to lose weight, reduce blood pressure, and discontinue her calcium medication.
“I had long ago given up on the idea of losing weight and was simply thankful for medication to push calcium into my bones and control my high blood pressure. Through working with the Pinnacle Health Management program, I realized I can take charge of my diet and exercise habits.
I thought my diet was good, and I was walking 40,000 to 60,000 steps per week with a daily caloric burn between 1,200 and 1,500.

By cutting back on the fat and increasing my exercise to include weight stations at the gym, my caloric burn increased to between 1,750 and 2,000.
My diet now includes more fruits and vegetables while maintaining a good level of protein. Pinnacle Health Management has provided great input on selecting proteins containing lower fat (vegetables, fish, and chicken rather than beef and pork).
My results include:
I look forward to planning my meals and exercise to reach my goal of reducing my weight to 127 pounds and waistline to 27 inches.”
